(作及物动词的宾语) 2、I`m surprised (that) you didn`t hear about it before. (作形容词的宾语) 3.I`m curious at what he will say. (作介词的宾语) 一、 宾语从句的连接词。 1、 that 在从句中无词汇意义，不能充当句子成分，在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。如： He said (that ) he wanted to stay at home. I`m sure (that) he will succeed. 2、 if和whether 在句子的意思是“是否”，但不充当成分。一般情况下两者可以互换，不同的是whether后可接or not, 而if一般不与or not 连用。 Eg: （1）I don`t know if/ whether you can help me. （2）I wonder whether it is true or not. 连接代词who, whom, whose, what, which在句子有词义，并且充当从句中的主语、宾语、表语、定语。 I wonder what he`s writing to me . (宾语) He asked whose handwriting was the best. (定语) 连词副词where，when, how, why 在句子有词义，并且充当从句中的状语。 I want to know when you can finish the work. (时间状语) 3、 Could you tell me where Tom has gone ?
