摘要：Method for isolating plasmid DNA, which comprises the steps of: suspendinghydroxyapatite particles in a tris-EDTA buffer solution having a pH of about 7 to about10, about 10 to about 50 mM of an EDTA alkali metal salt, and about 1 to about 100 mMof tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane; adding a solution containing RNA and plasmidDNA, obtained upon bacteriolysis, to the hydroxyapatite particles-containing suspension,thereby adsorbing the RNA onto the hydroxyapatite particles in the suspension; andrecovering the plasmid DNA by an ethanol precipitation process and others. The isolationmethod enables effective separation of the purified plasmid DNA from a solutioncontaining RNA and plasmid DNA in a simplified process, without the use for any specialseparation device.
