摘要：This invention relates to novel methods and devices for iontophoreticallyadministering therapeutic doses of cell adhesion receptor antagonists in a controlledmanner through the skin. Such antagonist compounds include but are not limited toantagonists of the IIb/IIIa and αvβ3 integrins and related cell surface adhesive proteinreceptors. The present invention includes iontophoretic delivery devices comprising celladhesion receptor antagonists. Such methods and devices are useful, alone or incombination with other therapeutic agents, for the treatment of thromboembolicdisorders, angiogenic disorders, inflammation, bone degradation, cancer metastasis,diabetic retinopathy, restenosis, macular degeneration, and other conditions mediated bycell adhesion and/or cell migration and/or angiogenesis.
