1. NT4 SP4, SP5 and SP6 Additional Information:

RSView32 version 6.10 has not been officially qualified on SP4 or SP5,

however application testing performed has shown no known issues with SP4 or SP5, and RSView32 and RSView32 Active Display Server and Station. Both RSView 6.20 and RADS 6.20 have been officially qualified on NT4 SP4. RSView32 6.20 has not been officially qualified on SP6, however application testing performed has shown no known issues with RSView32, and

RSView32 Active Display Server and Station. RSView32 6.30 has not been officially qualified on SP5, however application testing performed has shown no known issues with RSView32, and RSView32 Active Display Server and Station.

2. Windows 2000 Additional Information:

RSView32 will not install properly on Beta3 of this platform. After tweaking the registry and forcing it to install it would not run, the splash screen came up but no tasks were loaded. Windows 2000 is only supported with RSView 6.30.16 or greater.

3. RSView32 5.01.26 Additional Information:

This version of RSView32 was qualified on NT4.0 SP2 and SP3, NT3.51 and Win95 OEM Version. No testing has been performed on SP4, SP5, SP6, Win98 or Win2000 and 5.01.26 of RSView32.

4. RADS 6.0 Additional Information:

Beginning with this release RADS was qualified on both NT Workstation and NT Server Service Pack 3 only.

5. RSView32 6.10.16 Additional Information:

Although Windows 98 was not officially qualified there are no known issues with Windows 98.

6. RSView32 Active Display 6.10 Additional Information:

This release was qualified on NT Workstation SP3 and SP4; on NT Server only SP3 was officially qualified. There are no known issues with SP4 on NT Server, or with SP5. RAD 6.10 Client has issues with Windows 98. Use RAD 6.20 Client on Windows 98

7. RSView32 6.20.49 Additional Information:

This release is not compatible with RSView Active Display Station 6.10. Active Display Station 6.20.63 is required for RSView32 6.20.49 RSView32 was not officially qualified on Windows 98 Second Edition, however there are no known issues with this version of RSView32 and Win98 S.E.

8. Windows XP Additional Information:

RSView32 6.30.16 will install and run on Windows XP (AKA Whistler) It is not an officially qualified or supported platform. It has had a limited amount of testing on this platform, but appears to work well A known issue exists with setting ROI (RSView32 object interface) tag objects which were dimensioned WithEvents, to nothing. This is done in the RSView32 sample project, which may cause it to hang when you stop the project via the \"Stop Project\" button on the main menu screen. RSView32 6.40.03 has been tested and is ready to run on Windows XP.

RSView32 Active Display Server 6.30.16 will NOT run on Windows XP.

Microsoft has changed the way that applications publish folders via http using IIS, and this new method is incompatible with ADS 6.30.16. RSView32 Active Display Server 6.40.03 has been tested and is ready to run on Windows XP.

RSView32 WebServer NOT run on Windows XP. Microsoft has changed the way that applications publish folders via http using IIS, and this new method is incompatible with WebServer 1.0. RSView32 WebServer 1.10.03 has been

tested and is ready to run on Windows XP.

9. Windows 2000 Service Pack 2:

RSView32 6.30.16 and Active Display 6.30.16 will install and run on Windows 2000 SP2. It is not an officially qualified platform. It has had a limited amount of testing on these platforms, and at this point, there are no known issues specific to this service pack except for the following issue. In some cases NetDDE will not work correctly with this service pack. For a workaround see the following technote and review the revision note dated May 15, 2001.

10. Windows XP Service Pack 2:

Due to a number of security changes in Windows XP Service Pack 2, RSView32/ADS 7.00.00 and earlier will not run correctly on this platform. RSView32 and Active Display 7.10.00 are officially qualified on Windows XP Service Pack 2.

11. Windows Server 2003:

RSView32 7.10.00 and Active Display 7.10.00 are officially qualified on Windows Server 2003. Earlier versions will not install or run correctly on Windows Server 2003.

12. Windows 2000 Server:

RSView32 7.20.00 and Active Display 7.20.00 were tested with SP4 of Windows 2000 Server.

13. Windows Server 2003 SP1:

RSView32 7.20.00 and Active Display 7.20.00 are officially qualified on

Windows Server 2003 SP1. Earlier versions will not install or run correctly on Windows Server 2003 SP1.

RSView32 versions prior to 6.10.16 will not close properly when Visual Studio 6 is present. RSView32 requires Service Pack 1 or higher be applied to the Visual Studio 6 environment, and that you are running version 6.10.16 of RSView32.

2. Internet Explorer 4.0 Additional Information

RADS 6.20 and RADS 6.30 fully support IE as a Client Browser. IE5 is preferred. When using IE4, we require IE SP2 be applied. IE3 is not

supported as a Client Browser. IE3 will not break RAD server functionality

Although RSView32 6.20.49 and RADS 6.20.63 are not officially qualified with Office 2000, it does work, except for the following known issues stated 。 4. Office XP Additional Information:

Although RSView32 6.30.16 and RADS 6.30.16 are not officially qualified with Office XP, it does work. There are no known issues at this time.

A full regression test of RSView 6.10. and RSLinx 2.1 was not performed. However application testing performed with these 2 versions of product show that there are no known issues.

2. RPD Additional Information:

The RSView Project Documentor utility is an add-on to RSView32. Since this add-on documents the RSView project file, it is revised each time RSView is revised. Starting with RSView32 6.40, the Project Documentor is installed by the main RSView32 install. It can be found under Start->Programs->Rockwell Software->RSView32 Tools. The RSView32 Statistical Process Control add-on requires functionality provided in RSView32 revision 6.10.16 or higher.

4. Extension CD Additional Information:

The Extension CD started shipping with RSView32 6.10 and is not compatible with earlier versions of RSView32.

The Feb 99 Extension CD contains TrendX 2.00.03.

A new Extension CD started shipping in January of 2000. This version shipped with RSView32 6.20.49. The Jan 2000 Extension CD contains

TrendX 3.00.17, SPC 1.00.43, Messenger 1.00.30, and RecipePro 1.00.59.

The June 2000 Extension CD shipped with RSView32 6.30.16. It contains TrendX 3.10.17, SPC 1.10.20, Messenger 1.10.07, and RecipePro 1.00.59. It also contains SP6a for Windows NT 4.0, which is required for SPC 1.10 Archiving.

The Extension CD dated 10-31-00 ships with RSView32 6.30.16. It contains TrendX 3.20.03, SPC 1.10.20, Messenger 1.10.07, RecipePro 1.00.59, RSLadder500 4.1.0.5, and RSLadder5 4.0.0.12. It also contains SP6a for

Windows NT 4.0, which is required for SPC 1.10 Archiving. It also contains RSLadder 5 & 500.

The The Extension CD dated 8-21-02 ships with RSView32 6.40.03. It contains TrendX 3.20.04, SPC 1.10.21, Messenger 1.10.07, RecipePro 1.00.59, RSLadder500 5.0.0.9, RSLadder5 5.0.0.9, and RSSQL 4.00.00. It also contains SP6a for Windows NT 4.0, which is required for SPC 1.10

The March 2004 Extension CD shipped with RSView32 7.00.00. It contains TrendX 3.40.00, SPC 1.20.00, Messenger 2.10.00, and RecipePro 1.10.00. It also contains SP6a for Windows NT 4.0, which is required for SPC 1.20

Archiving. It also contains RSLadder 5 & 500, a 50 tag version of RSSQL and RSAutomation Desktop support files for RSView32.

The September 2004 Extension CD shipped with RSView32 7.10.00. It
