摘要：The invention relates to a method and device for raising a seat of a motorvehicle, comprising a single seating unit having a frame (1) which is articulated on the floor(10) and a backrest (2,20) which is articulated on the seating unit. The vehicle is providedwith elements for attaching seat belts which are coupled to the frame (1) of the seatingunit and joined to the floor (10) of the vehicle by a removable locking system. Accordingto the invention, the unlocking of the attaching element is controlled directly by foldingthe backrest (2,20) after unlocking the hinge of said backrest (2,20). The backrest is thusused as a lever arm for controlling the unlocking of the attaching elements. The inventioncan be especially applied to folding a portfolio-type seat of a motor vehicle into twoparts
