摘要：The comparator includes a first detection channel (1) which produces a digitaldelay signal with a delay lying between 0 and the period of the clock (Ck). At eachtransition of the digital signal, a pulse is generated of duration proportional to the phaseshift between the clock and the delayed signal. A second detection channel (2) generatesat each digital signal transition a pulse of constant duration equal to clock period dividedby two. The mean value (Vo) of the difference between the pulses is calculated (3) over atleast one clock cycle. A zero signal is delivered for zero phase difference. When the clockis ahead relative to the centre of two successive transitions of the signal, the difference isnegative. When the clock is behind, the difference is positive.
