I am a first-year student of China university of geosciences. My name is lu Yang and I am studying in the management science and engineering major of the university of humanities and economics. Came to the university, I feel everything is full of novelty, came to the capital, in particular, I fully felt the strong atmosphere of a volunteer there, affected by the volunteer activities, I think, is one of the people are very good things.
In my hometown, although there is some awareness of society to contribute, but volunteer activity is not so strong atmosphere, therefore self also lost a lot of participation in social activities, see those energetic volunteers on TV, I have a dream that one day such a thing will happen to me. Now, dreams come true, and I don't want to miss out on such a volunteer opportunity.
In my opinion, when a volunteer is not a burden, when you choose him, is imposed by the will of self is not others, this is a bear, an exercise of self, is our the first step to society. Through volunteering, we have a better understanding of the society, enhance the self adapt society's potential, and helps to form self viewpoint and the view of the society, let to comprehensive understanding of the society and life, lead to self in the future to go a long way of thinking. For the society, we can use render themselves to promote the development of the society, with our dedication to let the world know, we value for the society is not in what we get, but through dedication to realize self value.
