copy, ape, imitate

这组词的共同意思是“模仿”。其区别是：

copy指在每个细节上都模仿原物,使其在每个方面都与原物特别相像; ape指模仿人或人的举动言谈等,自己羡慕的东西,但又模仿的不像,并成为笑柄；imitate指学某物的核心部分,但在细节上却不一定一样。

copy，duplicate，model，reproduction，facsimile

这些名词均有“复制品”之意。

copy普通用词，含义广泛，指精确的或不精确的复制品。

duplicate常指完全一模一样，可代替原件的复制品。
